Are you sure you are only filling to the bottom of the baffle inside the filler hole. I'm sure it will leak fuel out if filled to the "brim'. It does need some slosh and expansion room and that baffle (large tube) provides it. Most vehicle fuel tanks leave about 15% room at the top for expansion of the fuel. It is cold in the ground and may increase temperature and volume greatly when the outside temperature is over 100 deg. You should be concerned about fuel running down on a hot engine, espically during the starting drill. Could be very dangerous and harmful to you and your bike. Need to solve the probelm. Max
